Our Staff

LingCare’s employment program is based on qualifications, competency and character. We aim to employ people who are committed to caring for the elderly, and who are genuine and reliable. On-going education and training is provided to all employees. Our staff are expected to be prompt, courteous and respectful.

Home Nursing Services (RNs and PCAs)

Qualified Registered Nurses and skilled and fully trained Personal Care Assistants perform in-home nursing. Services include wound care, medical transportation, supervision of medication and hospital after-care.

Care Support Worker

A care support worker assists or supports clients to be independent at home by providing personal services, including meal preparation, accompanying transport, general household duties and other care needs.

Responsibilities include working as part of the Home Care Team to ensure service provision, and administrative tasks.

Requirements include First Aid Certificate, CPR and a current criminal record check.

Personal Care Worker

A personal care worker supports clients to be independent at home by providing personal care services, including general household duties, personal care hygiene, transport and mobility needs.

Responsibilities include working with other staff members, clients and families to ensure the Consumer Directed Care service meets client needs, and administrative activities.

Requirements include a Certificate III in Individual Support, First Aid Certificate, CPR and a current criminal record check.

Home Care Coordinator

A home care coordinator has ongoing contact with clients and other staff in the delivery of care service to clients.

Responsibilities include staff roster and work shifts, proper documentation and recordkeeping, and quality management.

Home Care Manager

A home care manager supports clients with their specific care needs and goals, working closely with the staff team and clients.

Responsibilities include managing, training and developing staff, reviewing care plans, and quality management.
